they aren't necessarily inherited. Just because one dog in a pedigree had a
problem
doesn't mean you will ever see that problem again. My goodness, if breeders
operated
with this approach, nothing would ever be bred.
If people "vetted" prospective mates before getting married and having
children, the
human race would disappear, as well!
How many times have people written here that the best thing to do is breed the

to the best and hope for the best? Not enough times, apparently.
