Well, just in case anyone was tired of talking about the gardener
for a while, I thought I'd share some news from Michigan.

Friday, Livingston Kennel Club had a small entry with Carolyn
Herbel judging. WD was Linda Ziehm's Pascavale Rupert, WB was
Sally Bell's Wye's Cracker. BOB was (my) CH Stillmeadow Dream to
Behold CD, NA, NAJ (Nigel).

Saturday morning I was getting ready to leave home with Nigel's
close friend Juliette, when I overheard him tell her that since he
wasn't going, she had to keep up the family tradition at dog shows.
The results under judge Steve Hayden were WD Pascavale Rupert; WB,
BOW, BOB (over a Special)Stonecroft Joy to Behold (Juliette!) for 5
points! This is Juliette's first major win. It may also be the
first time she has ever done anything that Nigel told her to do.
He is proud of her. I am proud of her. She could care less, but I
am still on cloud nine!

At today's Jaxon show under judge Saylers-Andersen it was Pascavale
Rupert WD, BOB for a 4 point major which finishes this pretty boy
and WB, BOS for her first 4 points to Linda Ziehm's Andedan Banner
La Pita. Pita was handled by Barry Ziehm while Linda took her
Pascavale Suzanne and then Rudy in the ring. Barry was overheard
saying "There's nothing to it" re: show handling.

Way to go Barry! May you influence the spouses of some of your
competitors!

Elin Becker
