Having recently moved South I was told by our new Vet
(who's young and very 'up' on the new {suggested} vaccination
protocols) that Lepto has recently become a problem in this area.
She suggests the vaccine for any dogs that utilize the local lakes,
ponds, etc. Therefore, I give the vaccine to my Golden who does
all the swimming and hiking, but not the Cavaliers who stay closer
to home.
