This is an easy one to answer. I doubt anyone would run out to have this scan done just to have it done. Even the so called health nazis--who are a lot smarter about these issues than some of you give credit for--would not do such a thing. But I guarantee that if it turned out that it could honestly and correctly detect which dogs would develop MVD early (or kidney disease, epilepsy or whatever truly serious disease it might be able to detect) well before dogs were old enough to be bred, many would start doing it. Problem is, I doubt this scan will do the trick for the things we would like it to do. So very few would do it.
