I have a new question for all of the list to respond. Let's fire it up! At this present time there is a non invasive procedure to detect abnormalities of almost any organ in the body. Currently they have a type of scan to scan the heart with multiple layers being exposed for purposes of determining if we as humans have any heart issues. This same machine will be used in the near future to replace colon screening (currently in evaluation stages) to micro view the entire digestive system. The cost for a heart scan is currently $300 US and an appointment is within two weeks. Keeping this in mind how many of us would send our loved ones fur or not to be scanned for shall we say defects? Would one scan be worth a lot more than an x-ray? This I believe can also be done on the pregnant ones. How far do you want to go? I raised this question for a reason. If a person has 1.2 million to spend on a machine to do these procedures how many of us would be willing to bring our breeding stock and pets? Just some food for thoughts regarding where our breed is going in the future and where medicine and technology will take us. What if this machine is portable? how many would line up at show to be done and at what cost? Does it make sense to do this? Kris Hassig MysticKnight Cavaliers MysticKnightcav@aol
