I think the point (no matter who's trying to make it) is this.
It is NOT the people who don't jump on every bandwagon who are the namecallers.
On the contrary, anyone who doesn't swarm to have the latest health tests is
condemned out of hand by those of you who test everyone for everything......just
because some people don't want to do as you do, you express your hurt feelings at
the same time as you infer that we don't test at all.
I, for one, think that such jumping to conclusions about one another, and the
frequent screams of self-defense when one doesn't agree with another, are mighty
boring.
I also think that people who don't breed should not enter into discussions
between breeders....on the other hand, my definition of a breeder may not be the
same as yours. To me, having a few litters doesn't make one a breeder...........
Don't bother, please, to start screaming again that your feelings are hurt, this
is still the United States of America and we are entitled to disagree. Inferences
that people who don't shout their health test results to the world are not testing
at all are very much unwelcome.
Also, as someone who has bred dogs for years without having (so far) the dire
results everyone is so terrified of, I don't really want to have someone who NEVER
bred anything telling me how to breed my dogs.
I don't tell you how to raise your children, keep your home, cook your dinner,
or any of the other things that are none of my business. We ALL want healthy
dogs. I personally know NO ONE who doesn't do health testing. Why every
discussion on this list turns into a name calling contest is beyond me...it doesn't
happen on my other lists, and we are much more vehement on those lists.....
We only get into trouble when we are led by fools. We are all exposed to the
same educational materials. If we can't disagree, we will never improve anything.
EGO has not much to do with it...why we have to be insulted simply because we
disagree is beyond me.
