Actually, the books say that they are more common in smaller litters as they
don't move as much and they have a large supply of milk. We had a swimmer
in a litter of one. Two swimmers in a litter of two, and a swimmer in a
litter of six. My friends had two swimmers in a litter of two, and my other
friend had two swimmers in a litter of two. Myra

I personally do not care what the books say, they all conflict each other
anyway.
And I would question why one breeder has had a reoccurring amounts of
swimmers to begin with? In all my litters this is my first one . And I
know there are others that have never had even one (even with small litters
of CAVALIERS). Please don't get into an arguing match with me, I am just
countering a close ended statement that I know to be false.
