In the last year, we had two c-sections.  One was a litter of nine, one a
litter of eight.  We were there both times, along with our friend, Sherry
Weinstein, a retired MD.  If one of the pups was looking a little dusky, I
wanted Sherry to have it because obviously I trust his resusitations skills
as much as my own.  I wanted to do cord care myself.  Those teenaged girls
were fighting us for those pups, and you're right.  With so many pups, and
so many people rubbing puppies, in such a small area,  it was like a three
ring circus.  The best part was when we all took a break and started
counting genders.  Of the 17 pups, only 5 boys.  Yippee.  Myra Savant
