I am not by any means a professional, but do a decent job, which you can check out
below, by looking at my pictures. I sometimes use a backdrop of navy or black fabric
from Wal-Mart, just a great big piece draped over something like the back of a chair.
Then I put the dog in the chair, or on the bench, etc. and talk to it. I use very
strange sounds( that I hope no one hears) cookies, whistles, etc. They usually get
into it after a while, and having a digital camera helps in that I can check teh
pictures often. A small puppy can be put into something like a flower pot, basket,
etc. Sometimes you can drop bits of food in it to keep him occupied until he is
comfortable. Patience is the BIG thing!!
My Nikon 990 digital isn't as fast as my Nikon F3 slr, but it is so handy. I like to
use ambient light so I don't get shadows from a flash, but often use fill flash out in
the yard.
Hope this helps,
Rosanne
