The pedigrees of both Prudence and her 12 1/2 year old daughter Winnie, are on my website at www.roycroftcavaliers.com. Winnie was sired by Kindrum Carte Blanche. Prudence and Winnie were checked by Dr. Riepe, a cardiologist, just a few months ago (September). Prudence was cardiologist clear of MVD till age 11 (was dopplered clear at 9) and now has a grade I murmur at age 14. Her daughter Winnie was cardiologist clear of MVD till age 9 and now has a grade II murmur at age 12 1/2. Prudence's murmur, on a good day, is not audible, on a bad day is only audible at one spot. Dr. Riepe was also the one who diagnosed her laryngeal paralysis--my vet clinic couldn't figure out what was wrong. Her symptoms were very mild back then, in fact every time I took her to the vet there were no symptoms, they had to go on what I told them. They have worsened considerably since.
