After all this time as a list-member, I have become accustomed to

occasionally hearing about Dinah (and previously, Savannah).  I
am so sad to

hear that Dinah is no longer with you - and us-- and is now at the
Rainbow

Thank you so much Alida.  I do appreciate your kind words.  Dinah
was so very special, and I take comfort knowing she and Savannah are
together again.  I wanted to tell everyone who has posted to the list how
much I appreciate you.  For some reason, I am not able to get the email
addresses to reply to you privately, so I am just sending this one email to
thank you all jointly.  I will try to send private replies to those who
wrote me privately.



My 5 year old neighbor told her mother that she didn't understand why her
sister was crying so hard over Dinah's death.  She said that she was sad,
too, but where Dinah was going she wouldn't have trouble climbing steps
anymore.  Such simplistic reasoning and yet so true.  Dinah needed to
be set free, but it makes it very hard for me, who loved her so much and is
left behind.
