What is truly laughable is the attitudes of "some" of the people... One
rotten apple does not ruin the whole lot. So we are all guilty by
association!?!? That is truly sad...

You are right in respect... a lot of you will have your hands full with the
pro's taking on cavaliers in the ring. Many novice owners and others who are
hiring pros are doing so because they are tired of the "cat" fights and "high
tension" in your rings. The cavalier has become highly popular and highly
competitive in a very short time. These people start out and get overwhelmed
with all that goes on and choose not to partake but want their dog shown.
That is where the pro comes in and takes on that not so enjoyable part of
their showing dogs for them.

Sportsmanship is a learned thing... part of that is recognizing when you get
legitimately defeated and are respectful of it. This is one thing we can all
benefit from becoming better at.
