Vanessa, I hear you. Kissy's vet bills alone must have been staggering. I would do the same for Lainie, but Darcy said I would be stupid, unless the lines were superb and the dog was an excellent specimen. Say no more on her....a treat to be her foster mom..miss her.
I miss showing horses so much... Dogs are different ball game. Horses are a physical reward. Connect physically and emotionally well, understand the movement, get a good score ( Dressage ), maybe pin a ribbon . Dogs are... pray you don't fall down, or your blouse doesn't open as you lift onto the table ( LOl, it happened! ), and get a ribbon, if you have super type. Forget the kennel assistant here. My kids hike, trail ride, van ride everywhere , and are too much of a part of my daily life to give it up to anyone. It would be nice to have a kennel cleaner, though! One of Cathy's gardners would be great...what Paul doesn't know won't hurt him!Lol.
