Hi, List,
Well, I wasn't AT Westminster but from what I could see on the
television, Taffe simply got down and adjusted a collar or adjusted or
brushed something. In that gorgeous ensemble for this formal event I
cannot envision her bending over? <G>!!! (THAT "presentation" to the
judge would have been downright rude!)
I have seen her show Andy three times and each time is more lovely than
the last. She does NOT hard or hand stack the dog and isn't THAT what is
in our standard? Seems to me that kneeling to talk to the dog or adjust
its collar is perfectly acceptable in either club or any country; she
made doing our breed proud. Have NONE of you ever had to kneel to comb
out an ear?
Well if that's the case then you all take more yoga classe than I will
ever have time for!
I planned all year to attend Westminster and have the privilege of
seeing all the really GREAT dogs together. For those of you who were
there, I would really like to hear about the DOGS.....the snippets we
get on tv aren't half enough.
And, for those of you who can't see the beauty of how Taffe
shows.....on a LOOSE lead without interfering physically or cosmetically
with Andy...you are missing something. She never runs, and is the
consummate kind handler. He is shown as a Cavalier should be shown.
And NO CLAIROL!!!!!

Please tell me that we have something to talk about besides trashing a
wonderful woman and great handler?

I just today came back from nomail and hope I was right!
