Thank you Norma Inglis of the UK for an excellent post summing up all the
issues that has been brought forward by USA breeders/exhibitors on this
list.

Sometimes in the USA, due to our "soap opera society" mentality. We think
our problems are bigger and more unique than anywhere else in the world...we
have a tendency to beat issues to death at times. I believe the process of
being "Tar and Feathers" was developed in the USA LOL???

I truly respect how the UK has already worked through the popularity issues
and growing pains of this beloved breed in their country. You still have
puppy farms and other issues...but that does not mark the true UK breeder of
quality!!! In the USA...we are going through these growing pains and it
will take longer due to the division that has occurred. But through more
excellent judge education and with more intergity of the breeders on what
they bring into the ring...this will be also be worked through. We will
just make "more noise" during the process...That is why we are called, "Ugly
Americans"...LOL

Thank you again for your thought provoking post...and please continue to
lend your voice to these discussions!!!
