We personally would not show a cavalier with a large smudge as
there is too much opposition, although I can overlook a small one when
judging.Our Honey has a smudge but we think she is beautiful in every other
way. She has not reproduced her smudge at all in her own pups but 2 of her
grandchildren have had smudges.Hope this is of interest,
