My property is sprayed six times from the end of April through September ... and I use Frontline religiously ... we are in a high tick area ... on the rare occasion, Willie or Phoebe will get one, maybe one or two in a six month period ... but I see it right away and it gets flushed down the toilet pronto ...
Without that I can tell you that they would be bringing in more than I could count ... do not walk your dogs on the periphery of the property of others ... most people, if they spray their properties, do not spray beyond the immediate areas of their homes ... I walk Willie and Phoebe on the roadway in our little development area off hours and away from the property edges. Call me paranoid, but guess what, my guys have never had lyme disease and neither have I ... better safe than sorry, I say ... I am also someone who will not let them run loose anywhere except in a totally fenced in area ... my backyard, when we are out there ...
