Messing with bites is like the trimming issue, where do we draw the line. I have a lovely 13" red and white Beagle with a reverse scissor bite. I was offered various solutions from a variety of folk, such as banding her teeth, exerting pressure on the back of her teeth with a tongue depressor as often and for as long as she would tolerate, to putting a glob of peanut butter on the back of her teeth several times a day, the theory being that as she licked it off she would be pushing her teeth forward with her tongue. Some would consider all of the above breaking the rules, but I suspect some would find the peanut butter acceptable, the Beagle certainly would :)
