Thank you for all the discussion --

I am just very excited about my first breeding and Gabby is a wonderfully
structured puppy. Nice, almost heavy boned, yet femine six month girl. I
miss the ring and I can't wait to get back. I realize that she is young, and
I too feel that Cavaliers take longer to close the growth plates. I see that
with the development of the puppies.

Referring back to the standards, the CKCS USA seems a little more forgiving
for the bite that is undershot. My interest, in AKC is to finish her in Bred
By, but at this point, I must be patient. It just may correct itself.

SO I find it interesting that many state that it is easier in AKC to finish
with an undershot. My thought was as a judge, I would avoid the dog with the
bad bite as well, but then the rest is so exceptional! ECK~ When I review
the CKCS Bulletin, many reviews are commented about poor bites.

I have found that it takes about 18 months for the head to be completely
developed.

Thanks ---
