I am having with a 5 month old puppy. I noticed on Monday that she seemed
to be having problems walking. I thought maybe one of the older dogs had
run into her and hurt her in some way. I watched her and yesterday decided
it was more than that. I took her to my vet for a check. She thought it
was a central nervous system problem. She checked ears to make sure they
were okay and they were fine. She felt all up and down her spinal column
and it didn't appear to be a problem. She doesn't appear to be in any pain.
She walks like a new born calf ...all wobbly. She walks and falls down.
She has eaten very little since Monday. She is not drinking. I can tell
she is not seeing well. She doesn't seem to be able to focus and growls
when the other dogs are in the room with her which is totally not like her.
I had a micro chip put in on Sunday. Has anyone ever had a problem caused
by a chip? I have

feed a raw diet and she has had raw chicken. Her littermate ate the raw
diet and chicken, too. He doesn't have a problem. Any ideas would be most
appreciated. I don't know how long I should wait before taking her to a
specialist. She is the daughter of my Susie that I lost in October. I
don't know exactly what to do next. Thanks for your help.
