Dear Susan,
I am a handler in Canada. I am not sure what goes on in the US
regarding handler associations. I do know we have the CPHA. I am not a
member of it at this time. I do not think there is much that can be done,
but preach to other handlers on how a cavalier is to be presented. I do
speak up when I see other professionals and owners showing cavaliers on
there knees . I would only hope that if a owner hires a professional to
handle there breed , the professional would know the proper way to present
them.
Again, this will only take a huge jump forward in our breed when judges
start speaking up in our rings and tell everyone to get up!
Shelly.
