May I ask what action you would take if a dog you were showing had a fit of
stage fright in the ring? Would you kneel to comfort it and let protocol be
hanged or would you leave it to suffer in order to keep your ego in tact?

I had a puppy react badly to loud noises in its first show. I took it out of
the ring. How often have you seen pro handlers showing untrained puppys I
wonder? Again we are not talking about untrained unsure puppys. Your intent
on confusing the two just shows your desire for some reason to protect pro
handlers. I have to wonder if you are a judge, pro handler, employ pro
handlers or have some other vested interest. We are talking about pro
handlers kneeling and hard stacking well trained seasoned show dogs not
someone comforting unsure puppies.
