Carolyn, how old is she? It is difficult to diagnose distemper as this disease is similar to HIV. It isn't the actual distemper that kills the dog, it is the secondary infections. If the dog is exhibiting nerve damage, then it is a very bad sign. I hope that it isn't distemper as that is pretty much a fatal disease and if it doesn't kill the dog, it does a lot of permanent damage.
