The only thing I can think of (and believe me I'm no computer genius) is maybe somewhat switched the color on your computer (maybe when running a game?) from 16 bit to 256 (or the other way around) to something that Breedmate can't *read* as well. I have no clue if Breedmate has color options somewhere in their menu, so this is the only thing I could come up with.
