Yes, they do and one of those ways is various types of tail wagging. I would
be one to vote against all tail and ear docking as totally unnecessary. If
you have ever seen a grown dog communicating with his tail movements one day
and then a few months later when that tail is gone and finally healed and the
dog not being able to use that tail as effectively, you would see what a
mistake it is to dock or in this case, amputate.
