Wasn't the original poster on this topic talking about debarking all of her 3 Cavaliers? Maybe, just maybe, I can understand an exceptional rare case that can't be trained, but I got the impression the original poster had debarked prior dogs before and now her vet is balking on debarking the current dogs. This seems to be more convenience or lack of experience in training than having to take extreme measures for an extreme individual case. Certainly there is compassion for the tough decisions that have to be made in extreme cases where other measures have been tried, but this does not seem to be the case. Carolyn Stigler
