Hi, Holli,
Many right thinking people are snookered into thinking PETA is a good,
well intentioned group of folks. In fact, that is not the case. They
are responsible for the DEATHS of many dogs who were "freed" by their
members to run loose at dog shows and get killed in traffic.
The Humane Society is one step behind them. There is a huge difference
between animal welfare advocates and animal "rightists". Most people
think that the Humane Society is affiliated with shelters........they
are not. However, their appeals for money are huge and by animal
welfare advocates they are dubbed "H$U$".
I'm sure that some individuals who work for these organizations simply
don't know for whom they work......
