Hi, Robyn - Even though I usually lurk on this list, I had to come out of
hiding to tell you how very very sorry I am about your beloved Kai. Losing
any dog, especially to something as awful as bloat is hard, but losing the
"dog of your heart" is the hardest of all. The hole in your heart does fill
(kind of) but it's never the same. I, too, have had many dogs over my life,
but the "dog of my heart" was a beautiful little tricolor Cavalier -- also
named Kai. It's been over 2 yrs and I still weep for her....maybe the two
Kais -- big and little -- are finding each other now alongside the Rainbow
Bridge. You have my deepest sympathies.
