There is a group of Cavalier enthusiasts who do rescue Cavaliers from these horrible conditions. I spoke with them today and they have never heard of this gal, nor know of any time in the recent past when she has actually attended a dog auction and "rescued" a Cavalier! I think that most Cavalier breeders and pet owners feel that rescue is very important and not to be taken lightly. Perhaps the feeling is that we could tolerate yet another BYB (back yard breeder) but to portray oneself as a rescue person and ASK for donations on your website is at the very least, unethical. Finally, I was told today that this woman has never applied for a license in the state of Michigan to operate this "rescue" organization. She would need this prior to ever applying for an IRS Tax ID number. I am sorry no one publicly welcomed you on this list. There are many of us who lurk and rarely share...(you may have noticed) <vbg>. But, please do not assume out silence as coldness. We just listen and learn! So, tell us...are you owned by Cavaliers, how many, and what are their names????
