There is more money changing hands by far in the AKC venue. Pro handlers are a part of this. With pro handlers and number of shows the same people see the same judges every show often several times a show. They build relationships. Lack of pro handlers, A much lower frequency of shows, and far less money changing hands is in my opinion why the level of politics is much higher in the AKC. But politics exist in all showing venues.
