All you have to do to get around the javascript is to use screen capture. It is especially easy with a MAC as it is just a macro key function of (apple key)+Shift+4 and you can select any portion of the screen because this makes your pointer look like a crosshair symbol and work the same as a cropping tool.
I haven't checked to see if PCs can do this, but I suspect that they can. Probably be more complicated, as everything else I do on a PC is more trouble than a MAC.
