I agree with you, also, Suse.  However, this is when withholding ribbons
comes in.  If, as a judge, I cannot find a typy dog that is acceptably sound
as well, I withhold ribbons.  It is not imperative that the judge give
championship awards every time they judge.

Experience has taught me that not all people can judge soundness nor can they
judge type.  Some are hopelessly lost.  Really too bad, but fairly quickly we
can weed them out and not give them entries.
