Judy, I very rarely ever make a comment on this list but after all the endless posts about movement verses type etc I think the statement attributed to Ann Rogers Clark is one of the most sensible straightforward and succinct I have seen in a long time-she just hits the nail. I am sure both ladies in their 70's have slowed up a little, however I don't feel the need to spring to Pam Thornhill's defence her record in the breed can clearly speak for itself, you cannot totally have lost your savvy having been 40 years around good cavaliers.I know she undertook her recent Crufts appointment having suffered considerable discomfort since Christmas ( an American tourist ran into her car at traffic lights in Cambridge!!)
This is a very sad day with the death of The Queen mother something of a watershed really and although inevitable at nearly 102, it is still hard to believe that we won't see her again, I see lots of lovely tributes have been paid to her on this list.
