I don't know if there is a UK version.  Grits is/are (even though it looks
like a plural it can go either way) the most humble of Southern cooking.
If there are any international groceries near you, you might find some
there.  But it is often hard to find grits outside the South.  For more

Or, if you find yourself in South Carolina, stop by and I'll gladly whip
you up a mess of shrimp and grits!  Or Frogmore Stew, but that's a
whole 'nother story!
