Well then, we're talking apples and oranges here because people who sell to pet
shops or breed Fluffy and sell her puppies out of the newspaper have no interest
in joining a club CKCSUSA or ACKCS so whether or not they would be qualified to
vote on matters concerning the breed is moot. They are also registering with the
Continental Kennel Club, American Pet Registry. Dog Registry Of America, and
whatever new bogus registry that crops up. Unfortunately the general public is not
knowledgeable enough to realize that AKC is not a seal of approval nor guarantees
quality it is simply a registration body. It is this lack of knowledge that
millers exploit and why they seek to register with AKC. Thanks to the FUS program
the millers have also realized that they still have a market for their puppies
regardless of the registration body they use.
