I x-ray all mine before and after 2 years of age. I have found changes both up and down (by only one grade) but so far I have not experienced a preliminary *pass* to turn into a *fail* past 2 years of age. I know it happens and I'm sure it will to me sometime, but I have not experienced it yet. The one and only fail one of my puppies had was not prelim'd, so I don't know if the dog would have passed at a younger age (I did not own the dog, the owner opted to xray only once after 2 years of age).
