Yes, Myra.......have had exactly that same problem with Vets and raw diet....so exasperating! I've not necessarily noticed the size difference as much as the quality of the coat......ie. raw diet the coats are so much softer and silkier and the commercially fed dogs seem to have more dull and dry coats. On the flip side, though, I have brought in a puppy who had been fed a commercial diet, apparently was a fairly good eater according to the breeder and when introduced to the raw diet refuses to eat..........will eat the chicken necks or wings slowly, but will eat them.....but the food (and I've tried what we prepare here, Halshan's, Fargo, and Primal).....nothing sparks any interest!
