Here in the Pacific Northwest, I believe that AKC just raised the numbers defeated in order to win a five point major. Now, I believe there must be 16 bitches entered and defeated in order for a bitch to win a five point major. You need 15 total points with two majors in order to win your AKC championship. So.....you could become an AKC champion by defeating 48 other bitches total if you won those three five point majors. The numbers here in the states are very, very different than in the UK. That is why, when we compare showing, the comparisons are often like comparing apples and oranges. Myra
