Many cities, including Los Angeles where I live, require dog licenses. And rabies vaccinations are required (every 3 yrs) in order to get license renewed. How do they catch you if you don't comply? By hiring a company that goes door to door in all neighborhoods. If they hear dogs barking, they check their records to see if there are licensed dogs at that address. They also ask neighbors if other neighbors have dogs and, if so, how many. That's how I got caught with only 1 of 3 dogs licensed. Lousy neighbors! Susan Jackson Ch.
