By not allowing "old club" members to use their stud dogs on AKC (only) registered stock it won't slow down the amount of breeding being done.......it just keeps some lovely dogs out of a growing gene pool and hurts the owners in their pocketbook. Of course I am not suggesting that anyone should ever breed for profit, but gosh, wouldn't it just help the breed grow in a positive direction?
