I wanted to add in communication terms...when you add modifiers such as
"just", "only" to describe anything you are discounting it to the receiver
of that message. It is a simple marketing principle...and frankly it has
been used for those purposes in the USA. And there has been a letter send
out to address this that was shared with this list.

Please describe a dog with the correct terms without any modifiers...such as
these examples:
AKC registered dog
CKC and AKC registered dog...
EKC and AKC registered dog...
AKC and CKCSC-USA registered dog...
AKC, EKC, and CKCSC-USA reigstered dog...
and the list goes on...and on

As you can see a dual registered dog does not always refer to this situation
in the USA. There is a world out there and it must get tiring for our
neighbors to have to hear this debate...over...over...and over again.
Jackie presented a wonderful solution...there would not be repeat of
services, the moneys could be given to canine research, and individuals
could feel free to be affiliated with organization of their choice.

I frankly am looking forward to attending ACKCSC National to view wonderful
dogs and enjoy the company of great dedicated breeders...some ACKCSC
affiliated, some CKCSC-USA affiliated, some ACKCSC and CKCSC-USA affiliated,
and some affiliated with international clubs....What a collection of
delightful individuals!!! Yes there is life after divorce, when we get
beyond "he said and she said" mentality!!!

Take care,
Kathy Yonkers
