My two cents worth on this issue.. is why are you so reluctant to have the
AKC dogs eligible for the old club registration & events... and vice versa.
It is all about the old club being "control freaks" if you ask me.

Akc will uphold any "code of ethics" you institute by forming a partnership
with them. Our parent club in Brittnays has one... eithics are ethice and
there are good and bad breeders in old club and akc club. The same as there
are good and bad dogs in both venues. Does it not make more sense to make
this a "Joint Venture" for the betterment of the breed? Not all this back
biting and slander flying around about this club & that club?

I recently brought a "well bred" dog over from the UK.. I have not and will
not register or join the old club until these club "issues" are resolved. I
would love to exhibit my dog in both venues but not with the guidelines that
are in place about AKC dogs.

That my dear is what is known as cutting your nose off despite your face. You
all sit back & complain about the akc dogs and their "supposed" lack of
merit. But then keep your "supposedly" superior specimens locked up in a
closet so not one in AKC can use them to better their breeding program.

Silly, childish and unneccesary if you ask me.... It is time to bury the
grudge and move on and do what is in " the Breeds Best Interest" and in the
end the club will prosper.
