In all seriousness, it is terribly confusing when the mission statement
of an entity is either misleading or outdated. It is easy for me to see
how someone could support PETA even today reading their mission
statement and similarly easy for me to understand the confusion of those
in CKCSC, USA who have read the history and mission as stated by
founding members; a mission which has clearly changed.
This is NOT to compare CKSCS, USA with PETA in that PETA is a terribly
harmful organization and CKCSC, USA has no malevolent intentions. So,
please don't flame me for directly comparing them OTHER than to state
that well meaning people can get very confused when there is no clarity
of mission.
What IS the mission of CKCSC, USA today? Has a new mission statement
been written since Ms. Spalding's book?
