Hi List,

I like to share things that have worked for me. Never know there might just be one
person out there that could benefit:)

I like many others have not found the right solution for tear staining. Just the usual
little stain from normal tearing. While i was reading Bruce Field's book, I came
across his suggestion to use Witch Hazel. Just one or two wipes with a cotton ball and
Witch Hazel completely removed stain. Better than anything I have tried. I think I
have tried it all!!

This next tip may not be for the "faint at heart" so stop now if you have a weak
stomach! I have had a lot of trouble doing toenails on my new Aussie puppy. I have
played with her feet, made it positive etc. since the day I got her, but she is just
one of those dogs. She is very good on grooming table and will cooperate with all
else. A few days ago I was sitting on the floor in front of her with a Tootsie Pop
sucker. She wanted a lick-so I gave her one while playing with her feet. To make it
short, next time I went to do nails, she acted like it had never been a problem.
Unconventional but it worked for this dog.

Happy Grooming
