So funny-- I too have a cavalier on my lap most the time. If I sit down they feel its their duty to keep me from getting up. now that I have more than one I pull up a chair next to mine for anyone willing to get that far away from me and the other sits with me on the same chair usually with her feet up on my side. One will usually take the offer an sit in a chair next to me with a paw on me or get ack down on the floor and lay on top of my feet.
