<now that I have more than one I pull up a chair next to mine for anyone
willing
<to get that far away from me...>
Sarah -- THANK YOU for posting that sentence! Now that I have 3 cavaliers,
the wrangling and pushing and begging to sit on my lap became untenable. One
of the good things about being a bit "over fluffy" is that one does have a
bigger (and softer) lap...but it's still not large enough to accommodate 3
dogs. So the other day I pulled up a chair next to the computer chair and
had Callie and Paisley on my lap (resting their heads on my arms making
typing very difficult) and Zephyr sleeping on the chair with her head resting
on my knee. My adult son came in and informed me that I was really slipping
over the edge... why couldn't the dogs just be on the floor for goodness
sake! Floor??? Cavaliers sleeping on the floor??? I obviously failed by not
bringing Cavaliers into the house until after he had grown and left home! He
still has a lot to learn about these little furkids. Anyhow, I just showed
him your post -- he said we're all weird! Imagine that!
