Oh, I had to respond to this. My 11 mo. Cavalier is in obedience and agility
training. Instructors in both venues love him! They both say he is prime
competition material; he learns quickly, is very attentive and has terrific
drive! So, at least in my limited experience, this breed is highly trainable
and would make an excellent service dog, provided the service he/she is
being trained for is appropriate for their size.
