We never interfere either with the moms and their decision to wean the babies. I make sure that they always have access to a couch or some other place where they can get away from the babies as needed, and let them work things out on their own. Some of the moms will still be cleaning up after the pups and nursing them occasionally at 12 weeks, but some moms start the weaning process by 5-6 weeks. Different parenting styles. Myra
