We were back to the vet this afternoon. Thanks to advice from a few of you, all three pups got injections of plasma. I remembered that my vet had given it once to a pup that didn't get colostrum. My vet thought it was a good idea. I have been tube feeding and attempting to have her nurse. I got a shipment of fading puppy syndrome remedy today and have been giving it every hour. Tonight I got the pup to nurse and there was a lot less blood in the urine. I know we are not out of the woods by any means, but it is a good sign. The blood seems to be the problem, not necessarily her size (though it does put her at a disadvantage). The vet thinks it might be an infection from the umbilical cord. There are other possibilities, but she says that would be her bet. Thank you for all your suggestions. It is so comforting to have the list to turn to in times like these. I'll keep you all informed.
