Myra, I believe the reason for requiring spay/neuter contracts on those the bitches owner doesn't keep is that we are or should be responsible for all progeny produced by our boys as well as our girls. We screen the bitches owner to ensure we are satisfied they should be allowed to use our boys and I have no doubt that these people are totally trustworthy to sell only to people who are responsible owners however, the area of responsibility for the stud dog owner becomes way to broad if this control is not in place. Still your name can end up in pedigrees where you would prefer it was not but we can only do the best we can. Does this make sense to you?
